Every great endeavor requires a handful of champions and visionaries willing to take risks and be a force for good. That describes the behind the scenes support provided by the nonprofit BSP Movements.

As a local nonprofit, striving to “Do Good and Be Good for the Neighborhood,” BSP Movements is championing the effort to restore and revitalize The Walnut. Says their Director, “We knew The Walnut shouldn’t be in the hands of just any developer or business venturer. For years we spoke with its owner about renewing the theatre in a way that would bring life and the community back into such a beloved space. Our board strongly believes that the theatre holds a special place in this community’s history and heart; therefore, it had to be protected and restored for that purpose. We felt that we could carry the vision of its revitalization in the safe hands of a community-minded nonprofit, and build a great future for it too!”
